Miscreants use ‘chilli’ to loot Rs 2 lakh in Cuttack

Cuttack: A group of miscreants looted Rs 2 lakh from a man at a petrol pump of CDA area here on Tuesday.
According to reports, four miscreants came on two motorcycles, sprayed chilli powder on the victim’s eyes and decamped with a bag containing the money.
A complaint with regard to the robbery was lodged at Markatnagar police station.
In another incident, two motorcycle-borne miscreants looted Rs 1.37 lakh from an employee of Bharat Finance Company Limited at Ghatagaon under Patna police limits in Keonjhar district.
