Kochi: Miss Kerala 2019 winner, Ansi Kabeer, and runner-up Anjana Shajan died in an accident near Vytilla here on Sunday night.
The incident occurred at around 1 am in front of Holiday Inn on the Ernakulam Bypass.
They died on the spot after their car lost control, hit a two-wheeler, then rammed a tree before overturning.
There were two men in the car, who have been admitted to hospital in a critical condition. The two-wheeler rider escaped with minor injuries.
Kabeer hailed from Alamcode in Thiruvananthapuram’s Attingal. Shajan hailed from Thrissur. They had come to Kochi for a photo session.
