Jajpur: A 19-year-old Plus III student, who went missing from the hostel of a private degree college at Panikoili in Jajpur district, was traced to Balasore, where she is reportedly staying with husband.
A native of Nilabagh in Balasore district, the girl was staying in the college hostel as her parents reside in Bihar. She skipped a blood donation camp at Panikoili bazaar, which was attended by the hostel inmates, and stayed back in the hostel citing she was unwell. When her friends did not find her in the hostel after returning from the camp, the hostel warden informed the college authorities and a complaint was lodged with Panikoili police the same night.
During the investigation, the girl was found in the house of one Chandan Malik in Koligaon village under Khantapada police limits in Balasore district. She told police that she was legally married to Chandan and refused to go back to her parents.
