Cuttack: The body of an elderly man, who was missing for the past two days, was found floating on Mahanadi river at Jatamundia near Banki in Cuttack on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Kabi Behera. He was a resident of Karabar village.
According to sources, some locals found his body floating in the river in the morning and informed the police. Following this, police and fire service personnel reached the spot and recovered the body.
Notably, Kabi had gone to the river to take a bath two days ago, but did not return. His family members had lodged a missing complaint with Banki police.
