Bhubaneswar: A senior servitor of Jagannath temple on Monday targeted the Puri Gajapati king over the missing of Ratna Bhandara key.
According to reports, senior servitor and president of the Daitapati Nijog Ramakrushna Dasmohapatra met chief minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat in the afternoon.
Talking to media persons later, he said being the custodian of the Jagannath temple, the Gajapati King should have taken adequate measures for the safety of the Ratna Bhandara key. Let him convene an emergency meeting within a week to discuss the matter. “If the information on the location of the key is found at the meeting, there is no need for a judicial probe,” he added.
Asked whether the Gajapati King has a duplicate key of the Ratna Bhandara at his palace, he said the latter should have the key with him. “Let him give a clarification on this,” he added.
