Bhawanipatna: Body of missing Vedanta engineer Pratyush Kumar Pradhan was recovered from Tanganakana Dam on Thursday.
According to sources, Pradhan went missing on Tuesday. The company lodged a missing complaint with Lanjigarh police on Wednesday evening.
Police found his car was near the dam, about 3 km from Lanjigarh, and searched the area that night but in vain.
Fire service personnel were called in the following morning and they fished out his body from the dam after hours of searching. His mobile phone was found in his pant pocket.
Pradhan was a native of Gadaguda village in Kandhamal district, the sources added.
