Deogarh: A youth, who had been missing for the last four days, was found dead with his throat slit at Barkot in Deogarh district on Saturday.
He was identified as Pawan Barnawal, a resident of Rourkela.
Basing on a missing complaint lodged on Tuesday, police started investigation and found the body. The victim’s family suspected that he was murdered over past enmity and demanded a thorough probe into the matter.
Investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of Pawan’s death, police sources said.
