Bhubaneswar: A Mo Bus is again in news after it was reportedly involved in a fresh incident in Odisha capital on Tuesday. The car of the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Cuttack was hit by a speeding Mo Bus at Raj Bhavan square in Bhubaneswar.
According to sources, the mishap took place when the Cuttack ADM’s car was approaching Raj Bhavan square and the Mo Bus on Route No. 23 moving from AG Square direction dashed against the vehicle from the rear.
The Cuttack ADM, who was on his way to the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) to take a flight to New Delhi, was stated to have escaped with minor injury. While those travelling in the vehicle were safe, the vehicle was stated to have suffered extensive damage damage.
The driver of ADM’s car said as the vehicle reached Raj Bhavan square, the Mo Bus moving at a very high speed from AG square side rammed into the vehicle. The ADM and the driver sustained minor injuries in the mishap.
Since the ADM had to proceed to New Delhi for an urgent meeting, he was sent to the airport in another vehicle, he said.
However, all passengers in the Mo Bus were also reported to be safe. Further details are awaited.
