Mo Bus Service To Resume On All Routes In Odisha From August 2

Bhubaneswar: Following a relaxation in the partial lockdown restrictions by the Odisha government on Saturday, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has announced to resume the Mo Bus services on all routes from August 2.

According to general manager, CRUT, Dipti Mahapatro, 194 buses will operate on 25 routes from 7 am to 7 pm on the weekdays (Monday-Friday). But the regular Mo Bus services will remain suspended on Saturdays and Sundays due to the weekend shutdown, she added.

However, bus service for incoming passengers will continue from the city railway station to Cuttack and Khurda and shuttle service will be available from airport to railway station during the weekends.

She also said no passenger will be allowed to travel standing in the buses while wearing the masks is compulsory for all passengers as per “no mask, no entry” policy of the CRUT.

“We appeal to all the commuters to continue taking precautions while commuting in Mo Bus,” she said.

Stating that all the crew members have been inoculated with two doses of COVID vaccine, Mohapatro said the cleaning and disinfection of Mo Buses are being done on daily basis as per standard procedure in the interest of passengers and staff deployed in the buses.
