Bhubaneswar: ‘Mo Bus’ Shuttle Service is all set to roll out from November 27 for the 19-day Hockey Men’s World Cup in Odisha capital.
According to official sources, the shuttle service will be available on Janata Maidan-Kalinga Stadium-.FEST venue route from 3 pm in the afternoon to 11 pm at night, every two minutes.
This will be given the Route no. 01 status, to indicate importance of this event for the city.
This shuttle service will provide continuous bus service to hockey enthusiasts, festivalgoers and tourists interested to connect with the World Cup at Kalinga Stadium, and Bhubaneswar City Festival .FEST, showcasing music, entertainment and culture. This will specially be of use for denizens, who will use Janata Maidan for parking their vehicles, the sources further said.
The tariff for the Non AC Mo Bus Shuttle has been fixed at a flat fare of Rs. 15 and that for the AC at Rs. 30.
Free car and two-wheeler parking will be provided at Janata Maidan, for the entire duration of the World Cup Hockey and Bhubaneswar City Festival. People can park their vehicles, and proceed to Mo Bus Shuttle boarding point for going to venues of Kalinga Stadium & Exhibition Ground.
For operating this service, CRUT will deploy a crew of 40 Bus Captains, 60 Bus Guides, and 30 supervisory staff, , the sources added.
