Bhubaneswar: With the Twin Cities and Khurdha gearing up for Durga Puja celebrations from October 5 to 9, Mo Bus services operated by Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) will not be available ion any route after 2 pm.
The buses will ply at usual frequency between 6 am and 2pm.
This decision was taken owing to guidelines issued by the Commissionerate Police imposing restrictions on the movement of heavy vehicles on several roads of Twin City and Khurdha after 4 pm during the five-day long-festival, a CRUT press release said.
“We want denizens to enjoy Durga Puja revelry at ease. The restrictions are implemented for their convenience and safety of the public,” said CRUT Spokesperson Dipti Mahapatro.
