‘Mo College’ Sanctions Over Rs 3.5 Cr For 15 Varsities & Colleges In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Mo College Abhijan Parichalana Sangathan (MCAPS) has approved a matching grant of more than Rs 3.5 crore to 15 educational institutions recently.

According to a press release of the Sangathan, a total amount of Rs 3,60,34,554 matching grant has been approved for various developmental projects of 15 educational institutions including 2 universities and 13 colleges in the state.

‘Mo College’ under 5T initiative of the state government has been working for overall improvement of students from over 800 universities and colleges in Odisha. The platform provides necessary support to the students through seminars, webinars and personality development programmes to make them academically, physically and morally fit to scale new heights.

It grants the matching amount received from CSR funds and alumni associations’ contributions to further these programmes.

Apart from digitalisation, ‘Mo College’ has taken up structural development of universities and colleges by establishing playgrounds, courts, open stages for cultural activities, automation of libraries, bi-cycle stands, construction of buildings, renovations of old structures, interior updates regarding electronic materials for smart classroom, procurement of furniture and study equipment.
