Moderate Fog Likely In Interior Odisha, Koraput Records Lowest 11.2 Degree Celsius

Bhubaneswar: Interior Odisha is likely to witness foggy condition in next 48 hours even as mercury dropped below 12 degree Celsius in Koraput.

The regional centre of India Meteorological Department, in its evening bulletin, said with no significant synoptic situation lying over the region, shallow to moderate fog is very likely at one or two places in the districts of interior Odisha during next 48 hours.

“Minimum temperature observed appreciable rise at one or two places in north coastal Odisha, appreciable fall at one or two places in interior Odisha and marked fall at one or two places in south interior Odisha,” the IMD said.

The weather office forecast that minimum (night) temperature is very likely to fall by 2 to 4 degree Celsius in the state during next 2 to 3 days.

Meanwhile, Koraput recorded the state’s lowest temperature of 11.2 degree Celsius, followed by Angul with 14 degree, Daringibadi in Phulbani with 14.5, and Phulbani with 14.8 degree Celsius.
