Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thundershower accompanied by gusty wind is likely in a few places in Odisha in next 24 hours.
According to the India Meteorological Department forecast, rain or thundershower is likely to occur at a few places in the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhmal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh and at one or two places in the rest of Odisha.
The department has also issued yellow warning for Coastal Odisha, Nuapada, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balangir, Deogarh, Koraput and Rayagada. Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind with speed reaching 30-40 kmph are likely at one or two places in these districts.
Talcher recorded the highest temperature of 42.1 degree Celsius followed by Titlagarh with 42 degree and Bhawanipatna with 40.5 degree on Saturday.
Bhubaneswar registered the maximum temperature of 38 degree Celsius on the day with highest humidity content to 88. The city will have partly cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder or lightning on Sunday.
