Moderate Rain Likely In Odisha For 6 Days; 4 Places Record Night Temp At 15°C Or Less

Bhubaneswar: Even as some places in Odisha are experiencing a nip in the air, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre has forecast light to moderate rain across the state for six days, starting Wednesday.

According to the midday bulletin, light rain may occur at one or two places in coastal Odisha, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts till 8.30 am on Thursday and more places in state are likely to experience light to moderate rain/thunderstorm in the subsequent days.

Meanwhile, Semiliguda in Koraput district continued to be the coldest place in the state with the night temperature at 12.6 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours. The three other places that recorded 15 degree Celsius and less are Koraput (13) and G Udayagiri (14) and Daringbadi (15), both in Kandhamal district.

The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 22.4 and 22 degree Celsius, the weather agency added.
