New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold summit talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to India on December 6.
The annual bilateral summit is expected to dwell on a number of key areas and lead to an expansion of ties in defence, trade, energy, and science and technology. China will also feature in the talks.
The bilateral summit will also see Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu holding talks their Indian counterparts S Jaishankar and Rajnath Singh, respectively.
Last year’s summit had to be postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
