Bhubaneswar: Southwest Monsoon reached Kerala on Sunday, three days ahead of normal schedule.
The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) confirmed that the monsoon broke over Kerala on the day. Normally, the monsoon breaks in the southern state on June 1.
Thus the monsoon has set in three days ahead of its normal date. The IMD will track its movement to determine when it will reach Odisha.
