Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here on Friday said that the conditions were becoming favourable for withdrawal of southwest monsoon from some parts of Odisha during the next two days.
It would withdraw from the entire state in the subsequent two days, it added.
With the depression crossing the Odisha coast earlier in the day, rainfall activity has also decreased significantly. And there is no heavy rainfall warning for the next five days.
However, thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places in coastal districts and parts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Ganjam and Gajapati districts.
