Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), which had issued a yellow warning for heavy rainfall at most places in six districts of Odisha on Sunday, said that the rainfall activity in the state will again continue for three more days, starting March 11, under the influence of two monsoon troughs.
“As the cyclonic circulation over the sub-Himalayan West Bengal and neighbourhood has weakened, the rainfall in Odisha will subside in the next 12 hours. There will be no rainfall in the state for the next two days on Monday and Tuesday as the weather will remain dry. As a result,” said the IMD in a morning bulletin today.
