Mumbai: Months after rumours of a secret wedding first surfaced, actor Isha Rikhi confirmed that she is married to rapper-singer Badshah.
During a recent Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on her Instagram handle, a fan asked Isha why she does not follow Badshah on social media despite being married. “I think I’m officially flooded with these questions. Yes, I am married. Now, coming to the most asked question: Why don’t you follow each other? Honestly, I think my husband owes all of an explanation. Pati Dev (Badshah), the audience has questions. Please address them at your earliest convenience.”
One fan asked why she hasn’t posted any picture with her husband Badshah.
Isha reshared the question along with an unseen picture of herself and Badshah. The picture shows her seated on Badshah’s lap as they share an affectionate hug, giving fans a much-awaited look at the couple together.
Badshah had earlier fuelled speculation with a cryptic Instagram post. The rapper shared a series of photos featuring a mystery woman whose face remained concealed in every frame.
The images showed the pair walking hand in hand through an open field, prompting fans to wonder if the woman was, in fact, Isha.
Along with the post, Badshah had written, “Universe has a strange way of putting people in your life.”
The wedding buzz started doing the rounds on March 24 after Isha’s mother Poonam Rikhi, shared a series of photos and videos on social media that appeared to be from the couple’s wedding celebrations.
The ceremony seemed to be an intimate affair attended by close family and friends.
In the pictures, Badshah was seen dressed in a brown kurta with a golden saafa, while Isha looked radiant in a traditional red ensemble.
Several images captured the pair exchanging garlands and posing together, further fuelling speculation about their marriage.
Before tying the knot with Isha, Badshah was married to Jasmine Masih, with whom he has a daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh.
