Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital reported around 190 new COVID-19 cases for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 191 more people have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours while 190 were found infected the previous day. Among them, 146 are local contact cases and 45 from quarantine.
The highest of 14 cases have been reported from Khandagiri, followed by 13 from Patia, nine from Old Town and eight each from Sundarpada and Rasulgarh. Four among the quarantine cases are also from Khandagiri.
Another 66 patients have also recovered from the infection, taking the cured tally to 32386.
Bhubaneswar now has 1236 active cases.
