More Coaches For 8 Pairs Of Trains Originating From 3 Places In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: To reduce passenger rush, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) will be adding more coaches to trains originating from Puri, Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur in Odisha.

This decision was taken after eight trains were found running with additional passengers during a review of the passenger profile management.

SAMBALPUR BASE TRAINS

18311/18312 Sambalpur-Banaras-Sambalpur Express from Sambalpur will be augmented with an AC-3 Tier and a Sleeper Class Coach each on a permanent basis from January 1, 2023. After augmentation, this train will run with 21 coaches.

22804/22803 Sambalpur-Shalimar-Sambalpur Express via Angul & Bhadrak from Sambalpur will be augmented with an AC-3 Tier and a Sleeper Class Coach each on a permanent basis from January 6, 2023. After augmentation, this train will run with 21 coaches.

BHUBANESWAR BASE TRAINS

12892/12891 Bhubaneswar-Bangiriposi-Bhubaneswar Express from Bhubaneswar has been augmented with a Second Class Seating Reserved Coach on a permanent basis from December 15. After augmentation, this train will run with 15 coaches.

12893/12894 Bhubaneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express has been augmented with 3 Second Class Seating Coach on a permanent basis from December 15. After augmentation, this train will run with 15 coaches.

PURI BASE TRAINS

12801/12802 Puri-New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express from Puri will be augmented with an AC-2 Tier Coach on a permanent basis from December 26. After augmentation, this train will run with 21 coaches.

12815/12816 Puri-Anand Vihar (New Delhi)-Puri Nandankanan Express from Puri will be augmented with an AC-2 Tier Coach on a permanent basis from December 29. After augmentation, this train will run with 22 coaches.

12875/12876 Puri-Anand Vihar (New Delhi)-Puri Neelachal Express from Puri will be augmented with an AC-2 Tier Coach on a permanent basis from December 30. After augmentation, this train will run with 22 coaches.

18410/18409 Puri-Shalimar-Puri Shri Jagannath Express from Puri will be augmented with 2 Sleeper Class Coach on a permanent basis from January 1, 2023. After augmentation, this train will run with 21 coaches.
