Cuttack: COVID-19 positive cases in the rural areas of Cuttack district is rising at an alarming proportion with 47 of 122 new cases being reported from two blocks.
Among them, 60 cases have detected in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) areas. The remaining 62 cases are from seven blocks with the highest of 26 from Tigiria followed by 21 from Athagarh, 8 from Mahanga, 3 from Salepur, 2 from Barang and one each from Banki and Niali.
With 11 deaths and 1475 recoveries, Cuttack district now has 759 active cases.
