Cuttack: The Millennium City reported 79 new COVID-19 cases and 109 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 31 are from containment zone Nua Nimba Sahi, 13 from home quarantine and 12 from institutional quarantine. The remaining 23 are local contact cases, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) tweeted.
Ten cases have been reported from Pilgrim Road and another eight, including six COVID warriors, from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here.
Four more COVID warriors are among the local contact cases, which includes four cases are from CDA Sector-6.
With these new cases, the affected tally touched 2516 on Tuesday.
While 1582 patients have recovered from the infection, the virus has claimed 13 lives in the city.
