Bhubaneswar: Taking note of the gradual rise in the day temperature, the Odisha government on Saturday issued a circular to all private and government schools across the state to resume morning classes from April 2.
A notification to this effect issued by the School and Mass Education department has directed all the schools in the state to have the morning session from 6.30 AM to 10.30 AM.
Besides, the school authorities have instructed to serve midday meals by 10 AM.
All schools have been asked to complete the admission process by April 2 and begin the new academic session from April 3,
The summer vacation will start from May 6, the notification added.
