Bhubaneswar: In view of heatwave condition, the courts in Odisha will have morning session from April 8.
The Orissa High Court, in a letter to district and sessions judges in the state on Saturday, said district and subordinate courts across the state will have morning sittings from April 8.
The arrangement will continue till the last working day of the summer vacation, said the letter sent by Orissa High Court Registrar (in-charge) Akhil Kumar Paschimakabat.
The morning sittings of the courts will be held from 7 am to 1 pm with a recess of half an hour from 10 am to 10.30 am.
However, the order will not be applicable to the courts at Berhampur, Chhatrapur, Bhubaneswar, Koraput Sadar and Puri Sadar, the letter stated.
