New Delhi: Elon Musk-owned X has introduced an interesting feature which shows the most-liked posts in a country over the past month.
In India, there’s none to beat Narendra Modi’s appeal.
Eight of the top 10 most-liked posts in the last 30 days were by the Indian Prime Minister, according to Prasar Bharati’s newswire.
Among PM Modi’s posts which drew maximum ‘likes’ was the one in which he’s seen presenting Vladimir Putin a copy of the Bhagavad Gita during the Russian President’s recent visit to India.
In that post, PM wrote “Presented a copy of the Gita in Russian to President Putin. The teachings of the Gita give inspiration to millions across the world. @KremlinRussia_E,” Modi wrote alongside the picture.
The post garnered the highest engagement, with a reach of 6.7 million and 231K likes.
Another post, in which Modi welcomed Putin to Delhi, also drew significant attention, reaching 10.6 million users and earning 214K likes.
“Delighted to welcome my friend, President Putin to India. Looking forward to our interactions later this evening and tomorrow. India-Russia friendship is a time-tested one that has greatly benefitted our people. @Kremlin Russia_E,” Modi wrote.
Modi’s other popular posts include one on the Ram Mandir Dhwajarohan ceremony and a congratulatory message to women’s cricket team for blind after they lifted the T20 World Cup. Those posts attracted 140K and 147K likes, respectively, and reached 3.1 million and 5.5 million users.
