Mother-Son Duo Burnt To Death After Looters Set House On Fire

Keonjhar: An elderly woman and her son were burnt to death in their sleep after looters allegedly set their house on fire.

The incident took place at Kaligaon village under Nandipada police limits in Keonjhar district late on Wednesday night. The deceased have been identified as Janjali Jena and her son Banamali.

According to sources, some looters allegedly set the house on fire in which the two were sleeping after looting valuables from the house. Both were charred to death.

Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
