Motorcycle Allowance Of Police Personal Hiked In Odisha

 

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday enhanced the motorcycle
allowance of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), Sub-Inspectors (SIs) and Inspectors and equivalent rank of the Odisha Police. The state government renamed the ‘Motor Cycle Allowance’ given to ASIs, SIs, Inspectors and equivalent ranks to ‘Mobility Allowance’. The existing rate of Rs 700 per month has been enhanced to Rs 1050 per month.

Besides, the provision of “Active Anti-Naxal Mobility Incentive” of Rs 1050 per month has been extended to the rank of SIs deployed on active anti-Naxal duty.


The allowance of ‘One Month’s Extra Salary’ to Constables, Sepoys and Havildars will now be called ‘Extra Duty Incentive’. The government has revised the same as per their basic pay without DA subject to maximum ceiling of Rs 25,000 per annum in the pre-revised scale of pay i.e. as per ORSP Rules, 2008.

The Special Diet Allowance of Constables, Sepoys, Havildars and equivalent ranks has been enhanced from the existing Rs1,150 per month to Rs 1,400 per month. The Mobility Allowance given to these personnel has also been enhanced from the existing rate of Rs 150 to Rs 300 per month.
