Motorcyclist Dies After Being Hit By Vehicle Carrying Sundargarh MP Jual Oram In Odisha

Dhenkanal: A motorcyclist died after being hit by a vehicle carrying senior BJP leader and Sundargarh MP Jual Oram in Kamakhyanagar area of Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Saturday.

As per preliminary reports, the mishap took place at Rekula Chhak under Kamakhyanagar police limits in the district in the afternoon. The deceased was identified as Sarbeswar Choudhury of Kamagarapatna.

Sources said the parliamentarian was travelling towards Rourkela from Bhubaneswar in a car when the mishap took place.

Under the impact of the collision, Choudhury fell from the motorcycle and sustained critical injuries. Oram rescued the victim and rushed him to Kamakhyanagar Hospital in the pilot vehicle.
However, he was declared dead at the hospital.

Describing the incident as unfortunate, Oram said that the accident took place as the motorcycle suddenly appeared in front of the moving car.

A police team visited the site where tension prevailed after the accident.
