Motorola Launches Smart AC, Washing Machine & Refrigerator In India

New Delhi: Popular smartphone maker Motorola has made its way into home appliances in India. It has launched air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines which will be sold on Flipkart from October 15 during the Big Billion Days sale.

Being a tech company, Motorola’s home appliances come with TruWifi technology that enables them to work from a smartphone.

Motorola AC
Moto’s smart air conditioners come in following sizes:
1.5 ton 3 star — Rs 32,999
1.5 ton 5 star — Rs 37,999
2 ton 3 star — Rs 39,999

All ACs have dual inverter, twin rotary compressor, five-speed fan, four-way swing, self-cleaning, and can work up to an ambient temperature of 60 degrees celsius, Moto claims.

Motorola Smart Refrigerators
Moto has launched big refrigerators of 507, 533, and 592 litres capacity and are priced at Rs 63,990, Rs 69,990, and Rs 51,990, respectively. Apart from smart features and an LED touch panel, the 507 and 533 litre refrigerators come with water dispensers.

Motorola Washing Machines
The fully automatic range is priced as follows:
6.5 kg — Rs 23,499
8 kg — Rs 28,999
10.5 kg — Rs 33,999

The company has also launched washer dryers priced at Rs 35,999 for 8 kg/5 kg and Rs 39,999 for 10.5 kg/6 kg variant. The washing machines have a feature to add clothes during an ongoing wash. All of them have inverter-driven motors that come with 10 years of warranty.

Apart from phones, Moto already sells TVs in India.
