Mumbai: Television star Mouni Roy and her husband Suraj Nambiar have sparked separation rumours after eagle-eyed fans noticed that the couple recently unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Mouni and Suraj have been in the spotlight since tying the knot in January 2022. Over the last four years, the couple frequently shared loved-up moments and pictures together on social media.
However, their recent activity on social media has left fans wondering about trouble in their paradise.
Despite unfollowing each other on Instagram, Mouni still has several posts featuring Suraj, including their wedding photos, on her profile. Suraj too continues to keep pictures with Mouni on his Instagram handle.
Soon after divorce reports surfaced, curious fans took to Suraj’s comment section, questioning him about the statu
s of their relationship.
One user wrote, “Why did you delete your wedding pictures? Divorce soon?”
Another commented, “They looked so in love, what happened?”
Mouni and Suraj are yet to react to the separation buzz.
Mouni and Suraj got married at the Hilton Goa Resort in Candolim in January 2022, as per Malayali and Bengali rituals.
Sharing pictures from their wedding, Mouni had written, “I found him at last.. Hand in hand, blessed by family and friends, we’re married! Need your love and blessings. Love, Suraj and Mouni.”
Sharing the same pictures, Suraj had captioned those, “27.01.2022 – Married my best friend and the love of my life. Feel like the luckiest man alive.”
On the work front, Mouni is awaiting the release of her next film ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’, which stars Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles.
Helmed by David Dhawan, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on June 5.
