Bhubaneswar: Following waterlogging in several areas of Bhubaneswar due to continuous rain on Sunday, MP Aparajita Sarangi castigated the state government for its indifference towards the civic problem.
The MP from Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha constituency in a tweet said, “This is our ‘SMART’ Bhubaneswar today!”
Questioning the administration of BJD government in tackling the drainage system in the city, she said, “After 21 years of Governance, this is what it is!”
The BJP MP also backed up with pictures of several inundated areas in the city. Stating that the Parliamentary Standing Committee has advised the state government for drawing up a drainage development plan and implementing it, Aparajita asked, “Is this lethargy or indifference? Can we justify this?”
