Mumbai: In a shocking incident, an MP from Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Mohan Sanjibhai Delkar, was found dead at a hotel room in Mumbai on Monday.
Police suspect that the Lok Sabha member died by suicide.
In a statement, Mumbai Police confirmed finding Delkar’s body in a hotel in the Marine Drive police station area.
The statement informed that the MP had left behind a suicide note written in Gujarati. Police, however, didn’t divulge more details about the suicide note.
“An investigation is being done. The exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem is conducted,” the statement added, Times Now reported.
