MP Man Forced To Drink Urine After His Son Elopes With Woman

Bhopal: A 70-year-old man was allegedly abducted, brutally assaulted and forced to drink urine in Madhya Pradesh’s Raisen district after his son reportedly eloped with a woman, police said on Friday. The shocking incident, which was captured on video and later circulated on social media, has triggered outrage.

According to the complaint, Bihari Banjara, a resident of Agariya Markho village, was attacked by a group of 10 to 12 men who came looking for the woman. The accused allegedly assaulted Banjara and his wife before taking the elderly man away. He was then driven around 150 km to Biaora in neighbouring Rajgarh d

istrict, where he was beaten and allegedly forced to drink urine from a bottle.

“They forced me to drink urine… they beat me badly. I want justice,” Banjara said, according to NDTV. The accused allegedly filmed the entire assault and later dumped him outside his house before fleeing.

Family members claimed they initially approached local police but no immediate action was taken. Banjara later travelled to Bhopal and submitted a complaint to the Director General of Police, attaching the viral video as evidence.

Raisen Sub-Divisional Police Officer Pratibha Sharma said a case has been registered and police teams are working with Rajgarh authorities to arrest the accused. “Bihari Banjara has reported that he was forced to drink urine near Biaora in Rajgarh. This is linked to an earlier case where his son had eloped with a girl from Shamshabad. We have informed our senior officers and coordinated with Rajgarh Police. A team has arrived, and we are fully cooperating to arrest the accused,” the officer told NDTV.
