Mumbai: Bhavesh Bhinde, who owns Ego Media Pvt. Ltd, the ad agency which installed the killer hoarding that collapsed here three days ago, was arrested on Thursday evening.

A team of Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch nabbed Bhinde from Rajasthan’s Udaipur, where he was found hiding in a hotel, reported ANI.

The 51-year-old Bhinde, against whom police have already registered a case for culpable homicide, is being brought to Mumbai where he likely to be produced in court on Friday.

The giant billboard collapsed on a fuel station in Ghatkopar area on May 13 amidst a dust storm and gusty winds, killing 16 people and injuring dozens.
