Mumbai: Eight passengers were injured after a Vistara flight from Mumbai to Kolkata was hit by severe turbulence.
Confirming the incident, which occurred around 4.30 pm on Monday, Vistara said, “Flight UK775 operating Mumbai-Kolkata on 7 June 2021 encountered severe turbulence 15 minutes before landing.”
While three people were injured critically and five others sustained minor injuries. There were 110 passengers on board, the Hindustan Times reported.
