Nabarangpur: An undertrial from Umerkote sub-jail died while undergoing treatment at the Nabarangpur district headquarters hospital in Odisha’s Nabarangpur.
Sources said Deb Majhi was admitted to DHH on Monday night and died on Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment.
A murder accused, Majhi was sent to Umerkote sub-jail four months ago. His family members alleged that he died of medical negligence. The police have sent his body for post-mortem.
