Nayagarh: An elderly man was found dead at the backyard of his house at Telipatana village in Ranapur block in Nayagarh district on Saturday.
Police suspect the deceased, Brajakishore Sahoo (84). was murdered as he was reportedly suffering from hysteria.
According to sources, Brajakishore had gone to see a volleyball match on Friday evening. After he failed to return home, his family started searching for him at the village.
Brajakishore’s body was found lying at the backyard of his house on Saturday morning.
On being informed, police reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
