Bhubaneswar: Playback singer and music composer Krishna Beuraa has added another feather in his cap by singing for a Hollywood movie.
Posting the video on social media, Krishna tweeted, “Hey guys proud to share my 1st Hollywood Collaboration with #ShaniRigsbee OST from the Motion Picture #XYX #IsntLoveEnough as the month of June is dedicated to #LGBT Pride and the song is to support it.1st Odia to sing for Hollywood.”
The film ‘XYX’ is based on LGBT.
Singer-songwriter Shani Rigsbee and Krishna can be seen in the music video along with actors Tarun Gahlot, Neha Iyer and Preeti Sharma.
“We support any kind of love. Love is unconditional, unmotivated and uninterrupted. We should not think before loving someone. This is theme of the song. Everyone should have the right to choose their partner,” said an excited Krishna.
The music video, which has been directed by Shani, has been shot in Mumbai, Chicago and Los Angeles and California.
“In America, same-sex love and marriage is acceptable. But people in India have a problem with it,” said this Odisha-born singer.
The versatile singer has super hit Bollywood songs like ‘Maula Mere’ from Chak De India, Rabba (Musafir) and Soniyo from the Heart (RAAZ-2) in his kitty. Besides Kailash Kher and Sukhwinder, he is one of the most sought-after for his Sufi style of singing.
Krishna can sing in 27 Indian languages and in English and Arabic also.
