Mumbai: Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut’s peculiar reply to a woman who questioned her about the flood situation in Himachal Pradesh has left everyone stunned.
During a visit to her flood-affected Lok Sabha constituency Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana shared the ordeal of her restaurant making only ₹50 in a day, while she has to pay ₹15 lakh in salaries.
“Imagine what I must be going through… I also have a restaurant here. Yesterday, I only did ₹50 worth of business. I have salaries of ₹15 lakh to pay. Please understand my pain too, I am human as well,” the Member of Parliament is heard saying in a viral video on Thursday.
When a woman questioned her about the floods situation in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana asked her to understand the pain that she is going through due to financial losses.

Earlier this year, Kangana had announced that she would open her first café, The Mountain Story, in Manali.
However, she faced resistance during her visit to rain-affected Patlikuhal area in Manali.
Expressing their resentment towards the actor-politician, locals shouted slogans and held black flags, as per a PTI report.
Heavy rains triggered landslides and flash floods in parts of Himachal Pradesh, including Kullu and Manali.
Several Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) buses were swept away, shops were damaged and several persons reported missing.
