Bhubaneswar: Mystery shrouds the death of a man whose body was found in a car parked on Cuttack-Sambalpur road.
According to sources, the locals had spotted the car parked on a road side near Hindol in Dhenkanal district on Tuesday. Since the engine of the car was running, they did not suspect anything.
However, finding the car still parked at the same spot for more than a day on Wednesday, they informed the police who came to the site. On opening the car’s door, the police found the body of the man inside.
The deceased has been identified as Pranab Purnachandra Pradhan who was working as an assistant manager in a mining company in Nagpur. His family including wife and daughter live in Nagpur while some of the relatives are in Dhenkanal.
The police have sent the body for post mortem and launched an investigation.
