Mystery Shrouds Death Of Married Woman In Odisha’s Balangir

Titlagarh: A married woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the town on Saturday.

According to sources, the woman, identified as Lisa Dakua of Bhubaneswar, was staying in a rented house in Tangarpada of the town in Balangir district after her marriage to Gunanidhi Dakua of Biswanathpur village of Kalahandi district 4 years back. Some time back, Gunanidhi shifted to Muniguda in Kalahandi in connection with his work and Lisa was staying alone in the house since then.

On Saturday morning, Lisa’s house owner Bibhuti Dalei found her front door open and told his wife to enquire about her. When Bibhuti’s wife went inside the house, she found Lisa lying on the bed motionless. Suspecting some foul play, Bibhuti informed the police.

Titlagarh police along with a scientific team from Balangir went to the house and found Lisa dead. They sent the body for post-mortem. The cause of Lisa’s death will be ascertained after getting post-mortem report, they said.
