Sambalpur: A woman and her two children were found dead under mysterious circumstances in their house in Odisha’s Sambalpur city on Saturday.
As per reports, the neighbours of the victims went to enquire as the front door of the house in Sanapali of the city remained closed for a long time on the day. The neighbours along with the local people managed to open the window of a room of the house and found the three persons lying dead.
The deceased were identified as Sazia Parveen (32), her son Abdul Rehman (10) and daughter Taiba (8).
On being informed by the locals, a team from Dhanupali police station led by SDPO Pradip Sahu and IIC Anita Pradhan went to the house and broke open the door of the room, which was closed from inside. They sent the body for post-mortem and registered a case of unnatural death.
While the cause of death would be known after getting post-mortem report, the investigation would reveal the circumstances that led the death of the woman and her two children, police sources said.
