Bhubaneswar: Making a fresh claim on Minister Naba Das’ murder, BJP stalwart and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Jayanarayan Mishra on Saturday said he will expose the mystery surrounding the sensational killing in the upcoming budget session of Odisha Assembly.
Stating that the host of issued will be raised in the Assembly, he said the mysterious murder of Naba Das will also be raked up during the session beginning on February 21.
Claiming that he will make an expose in the House, Mishra told media that people already have an idea about those behind the Minister’s murder and they will understand everything when the issue is discussed.
Alleging that those behind the murder are conspiring against himm, the senior BJP leader claimed that several high profile people are involved in the case and, therefore, it must be investigated by CBI.
The case should be handed over to CBI to ensure a fair and impartial probe as attempts are being made to shield the real culprits, he claimed.
Terming the protests being staged outside his house after his alleged scuffle with a woman police officer as sponsored, the senior BJP leader alleged that all these are also part of a conspiracy by those hehind Naba Das killing to defame him.
On Mishra’s statement, senior BJD leader Sashi Bhusan Behera said BJD has never been reluctant in discussing any issue in the Assembly. The party is prepared to discuss any issue raised in the House, he said.
