Bhubaneswar: 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman V K Pandian visited the pilgrim town of Puri on Sunday and inspected different works of the Shree jagannath Temple Heritage Corridor Project ahead of its inauguration on January 17.
During his early morning visit to the seaside pilgrim town, Pandian inspected the sites of Srimandir Parikrama Prakalp, Shree Marga, Shree Jagannatha Vihar, Shree Setu, Samanga Parking and facilities being created for the devotees.
The 5T Chairman inspected all elements of Parikrama and instructed the officials concerned to ensure regular cleaning and security.
He also inspected Shree Marga, Shree Jagannath Ballav Vihar, Shree Setu and Samanga Parking and discussed the smooth arrival and movement of pilgrims from Samanga Parking to the Parikrama.
Pandian also reviewed the exhibition arena and discussed on the themes to be displayed.
During the visit, Collector, SP, MD OBCC and other senior officials of the district administration and executing agency were present.
