Nabin Odisha Chairman V K Pandian Pays Tribute To Sugnana Kumari Deo On Her ‘Dwadasha’

Bhubaneswar: 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman V K Pandian on Tuesday offered tributes to former MLA Late V Sugnana Kumari Deo at a function organised at Khallikote in Ganjam district to observe her ‘Dwadasha’ ritual (12th day death ritual).

Pandian met Deo’s family members, relatives and local people on the occasion. He said that Deo had served as the unopposed leader of this area for several decades.

It was due to her personality and service attitude Deo earned respect from all cutting across political parties, said Pandian

The late leader and her family had played a significant role in the formation of Odisha as a separate state and its development, he said, adding that Deo as the daughter-in-law of Raja Bahadur Ramchandra Mardharaj was the heir of the Khallikote royal family.
