Bhubaneswar: BJP president J P Nadda, who was on a two-day visit to Odisha last month, is likely to visit the state again, according to a media report.
The report, however, did not mention the likely dates of his visit or his itinerary.
Notably, the notification for by-election to the Dhamnagar Assembly constituency was declared on Friday. The by-poll will be held on November 3.
Nadda was on a two-day visit to Odisha in September last week to bolster the party’s prospects in the 2024 polls. During his visit, he launched a stinging attack on the BJD government in Odisha.
It was his first visit to Odisha after assuming charge as the national president of the saffron party in 2020.
