Bhubaneswar: The Nandankanan Zoological Park and Botanical Garden, on the outskirts of the Odisha capital, will remain closed on weekends.
Zoo director Dr Sanjeet Kumar informed that the zoo will be out of bounds for visitors every Saturday and Sunday till further order.
“Both the zoo and the garden will open from Monday to Friday. The timing for the visitors is from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm,” he said.
All the visitors have been advised to follow the COVID appropriate behavior and obey the guidelines issued by the state government and Nandankanan authority.
Notably, the Nandankanan Zoological Park reopened to the tourists adhering to COVID-19 guidelines from August 3.
