Bhubaneswar: The Nandankanan Zoological Park near the city will reopen to the tourists adhering to COVID-19 guidelines from August 3.
Informing this to the media on Sunday, director of the zoo Manoj Mohapatra said considering the prevailing pandemic situation, a limited number of tourists will be allowed to enter the zoo every day after they undergo thermal screening at the entrance.
He further said in order to avoid large congregation, the battery-driven vehicles will not be in operation inside the zoo. Besides, the boating facility in Kanjia lake on the zoo premises will remain suspended, he added.
